THESE pupils from Paddock and Birkby junior schools proudly show their work from a visual arts project.
Altogether 13 youngsters from years three and four took part in the two-month scheme called the Sensations Project with artists Amy Hirst and Viv Owen.
They created pieces of artwork including puppets.
The theme of the children’s work was wellbeing and sessions focused on self-esteem, teamwork and communication.
Parents were also able to take part in workshops and the project was funded by Kirklees Council.
There will now be a follow-up course in the area for adults focusing on the same ideas.
Amy Hirst will be doing another project with Birkby Infant and Nursery School next term.
