Volunteer models strutted their stuff to a packed audience to raise £1,500 for Kirkwood Hospice.

The event was hosted by the Woodman Inn, Thunderbridge earlier this month and saw more than 80 people fill the bar and restaurant.

Manager and organiser Chris McHugh said: “It was a great turnout and we are really pleased with the £1,500 raised for the hospice which is our nominated charity.

“We had our runway in the restaurant and clothes were modelled from Almond clothes shop in North Street Kirkburton.”

Chris and fellow organisers turned out in force to meet with Kate Leadbeater from Kirkwood Hospice to present the cheque to the charity.
