YOUNGSTERS were treated to the ‘thrills and spills’ of the fair last night as Huddersfield’s newest attraction was in full swing.

The stomach-churning Superspin and white-knuckle Trailblazer enticed thrill-seekers at the venue at Aspley Marina on Wakefield Road.

Alan Cowie, 50, who runs the event said: “It is a real family fair, we have all the usual thrill-seeking rides and have introduced an entry fee to help keep the cost down.

“We also have rides for smaller children so they won’t miss out on the action.

“As a family business we know how tight budgets are at the moment.

“We have had a great response from the people of Huddersfield and hope they enjoy our event and recommend us to family and friends.”

Mr Cowie and his 25-strong team pitched up last Sunday and will be at the Riverside car park until Sunday, July 31.

Entry is via sessions which cost £4.99 per person and run between 1 – 5pm and 5pm – 9pm.
