PEOPLE in Huddersfield are being urged to put their best feet forward to raise money for the NSPCC.

The charity, which aims to end child cruelty, wants as many people as possible to take part in its Red and White Rose Challenge Walk on May 10.

Walking enthusiasts, their colleagues, family and friends are invited to join in the trek, which will take in some of the beautiful countryside and villages that span the Yorkshire/Lancashire border.

Walkers can choose between a seven or 22-mile circular route, starting from Haworth, the home of the Brontë Sisters.

Registration will be from 8am on the day at West Lane Methodist Chapel Hall in Haworth.
