A GANG may have cloned dozens of cashpoint and Visa cards at a Huddersfield cash dispenser.

Anyone who used the National Westminster machine at the Asda supermarket on Bradford Road between 10am and 11am on Saturday should contact their bank.

The gang of four slipped a device into the machine which police believe reads the details from cards which can then be cloned.

A member of the public saw the protruding device at 11am, pulled it out and handed it to security. The gang fled in a white car.

Pc Dave McSweeney, of Huddersfield police, said:

"People who used this machine will probably not have realised anything was wrong.

"Their card would have come back out as normal and their money would have been dispensed."
