A man from Waterloo has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 23-year-old woman outside Batley’s Frontier club in the early hours of Saturday.

Police immediately taped off the scene of the alleged attack – the car park next to the club and the Zucchini’s Italian restaurant in Bradford Road – and began making enquiries.

It is believed the attack took place at 5am and was reported to police at 6.10am.
