AN Elland day nursery has a double cause for celebration after receiving an outstanding report from Ofsted as it is due to celebrate its 10th year in September.
Joanne Wood opened Waters Edge Children’s Day Nursery in Elland in September 2001 and has built it into a 126 place day nursery with an out of school and holiday club.
This May government inspectors assessed it as being outstanding in all 17 areas including the quality of learning, relationships between children and staff and leadership.
The nursery is undergoing some major refurbishments this year and is due to open a play gym and cafe as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.
