SCHOOL'S out - and the kids are having fun.
Children across Kirklees are enjoying their six-week break from the classroom by joining holiday clubs and taking part in a variety of organised activities.
Youngsters at a summer club at the New Life Church, Paddock, sampled activities linked to the Amazon, the African jungle and other parts of the world - without leaving the church's Jubilee Centre.
Some of them also tried their hand at Maori stick music from New Zealand.
Other activities included games, music, Bible stories, crafts, puzzles and snacks.
The morning sessions, which ended on Saturday, were for primary school pupils.
Seaside-themed activities were the order of the day at Newsome South Methodist Church's Holiday Bible Club.
Thirty-five children aged between five and seven attended the morning sessions at the church in Berry Brow, which ran all this week.
The theme for the club was Seaside Rock. Activities included crafts, drama and video Bible stories.
The children were divided into teams based on rockpool creatures - crabs, sea urchins and shells.
The club was run by church members and community volunteers.
