A LIST of West Yorkshire Police vehicles reveals the force has more than £1m of luxury cars.
The database of marked police cars has been released following a Freedom of Information request by a member of the public.
It shows the force has 393 marked vehicles, including patrol cars, response vehicles, vans and motorbikes.
Of those, there are 15 BMW 530Ds worth £39,000 each and 10 BMW X5s worth £44,000 each.
A further £806,000 of high end Volvo V70 cars are also on the list.
The most common vehicle is the Vauxhall Astra of which West Yorkshire Police has 110.
It also has 47 Vauxhall Corsas, 22 Vauxhall Zafiras, 54 Vauxhall Vivaro vans, 52 Iveco Daily vans along with 12 BMW R1200 motorbikes and seven Husqvarna off-road motorbikes.
