Health chiefs want to hear the experiences of anybody using wheelchair services with a view to making them better for patients.

Services are provided by Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and the review will identify what is working well and any areas of possible improvement.

There are a number of ways people can have their say to the body carrying out the review, the NHS Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group. The survey is open until December 8.

Dr Steve Ollerton, chairman of NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG, said: “If you, or someone you care for, use a wheelchair then please get in touch with your views either by coming to our event, calling us or by taking part in our online survey.

“Every comment counts in this important review and we’d like to hear from as many people as possible.”

A discussion event will take place on Tuesday December 3 between 1.30pm and 3.30pm at the CCG’s headquarters in Broad Lea House, Dyson Wood Way, Bradley.

To book, download and return the booking form at the Wheelchair services review page on the CCG website.
