THESE four cuddly bunnies were callously dumped in Huddersfield.

RSPCA staff were appalled to discover the four tiny baby rabbits abandoned in a cardboard box.

Now they want to find them new homes.

A member of the public called out one of the society’s officers who made the discovery on Wednesday.

Adele Garbinskas, of the RSPCA’s Halifax & Huddersfield District Branch, said: “We’ve named them Benjamin, Blackberry, Peter and Pipkin.

“We’ve not been in contact with the officer who was called to the scene yet so it’s not quite clear exactly where they were, but when we opened the box we got a shock.

“They are adorable.”

The centre is currently “at bursting point” with rabbits.

They are all health checked, neutered, micro-chipped and are adopted with four weeks’ free insurance. They are social animals and should not be kept as singletons, so the branch also offers dating advice!

The present adoption fee is £20 and an extra donation towards neutering is welcome.
