POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a crash which claimed the life of a Fenay Bridge man.
The man, in his early 40s, was killed when his Lexus car was involved in a head-on crash with a lorry on Wakefield Road, Grange Moor, at 7.40am yesterday.
The tragedy happened on the 400-yard stretch from the Grange Moor roundabout to the junction with Paul Lane.
It happened just over 90 minutes after an earlier accident on the same stretch of road. Anyone who saw the accident should contact Pc Phil Shaw on 01484 436847.
The man who died has not yet been named by police.
