A WOMAN was standing trial today accused of helping the racist murderers of black teenager Anthony Walker to flee justice.

Tracy Garner, 34, of Liverpool, is accused of booking a hotel room for Paul Taylor and Michael Barton in Amsterdam then flying there to give them cash.

She denies assisting an offender and is being tried at Liverpool Crown Court.

Taylor and Barton, aged 20 and 17, were convicted in November of murdering Anthony, 18, with an ice axe in Huyton, Merseyside, last July. The attack was racist.

Two men yesterday plea- ded guilty to helping the pair. Robert Williams, 31, of Liverpool, admitted assisting an offender, and Paul Morson, 25, of Huyton, admitted perverting the course of justice. They will be sentenced later.
