THE body of a woman in her 50s was found on the M62 last night.
It is believed she jumped or fell to her death.
The woman, who has not been identified, was found underneath Hunsworth Road Bridge between junction 25 at Brighouse and junction 26 at Chain Bar, around 9.10pm following a report from a member of the public.
The eastbound carriageway was closed for several hours while the incident was investigated by police officers.
More information on the incident was due to be released by police later today, but the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.
