Woman killed at Slaithwaite rail station named

A PENSIONER has been named as the woman killed by a train near Slaithwaite.

A PENSIONER has been named as the woman killed by a train near Slaithwaite.

Christine Frost, 68, of  Norcross Avenue, Oakes, died after she  was hit on the railway last Friday.

A British Transport Police spokesman said:  “BTP and West Yorkshire Police officers attended the incident, which was reported to police at 11.28am.

“The incident is currently being treated  as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared  for the coroner."
