FIREFIGHTERS rescued two trapped women on Saturday - one from a public toilet, the other from a bed.
They rescued a woman from the toilets in Market Street, Huddersfield town centre, after the electronic door jammed shut.
A crew from Huddersfield Fire Station was called out to the Market Street toilets at 2.30am to rescue the woman.
Firefighters used a crowbar to release her. She had been trapped for 30 minutes inside the cubicle.
Relatives waiting outside used their mobile phone to call out the emergency services.
Earlier, firefighters had been to the Alwoodleigh Nursing and Residential Home, Bryan Road, Edgerton, where an elderly resident had become trapped in her bed.
The woman had become entangled in the side panels of the bed, which prevent people from falling out.
Firefighters dismantled the panel to release the woman.
