WOMEN and children of many faiths toured religious places of worship for Huddersfield Interfaith Council’s Women’s Day 2008.

The tour stopped at the Sikh Temple in Springwood, the Hindu Temple on Zetland Street and Huddersfield Parish Church.

Participants enjoyed food from many cultures and talks about different faiths.

The Rev Catherine Ogle, Vicar of Huddersfield, said: “The atmosphere between us when we meet as women of faith is very positive.

“It’s good to talk about all the things we have in common.”
