A NEW exhibition at the Tolson Museum celebrates Yorkshire’s industrial heritage.

Yorkshire at Work includes photographs by Terry Sutton and items including miners’ lamps and artefacts from the Kirkheaton brickworks. Mr Sutton studied graphic design at the School of Art and Design in Batley. In 2001 he published his first book Yesterday’s Yorkshire – a Celebration of the Industrial West Riding. This was followed in 2010 by Hard Graft – Yorkshire at Work. Illustrations and photographs from both books are being exhibited at the Tolson Museum until October 30.
