FLAVOURS from around the world are on offer in New Street in Huddersfield town centre over the next few days.

The town is again hosting the popular Continental Market - and there are 30 stalls groaning with food and drink to tempt the tastebuds of passers-by.

The market started today and runs until Saturday.

Olivier Simonin, from Strasbourg, north-east France, is pictured at his waffles and crepes stall.

Other foods on offer include sausages, bread, mustard, garlic, onions and honey from France, toffee waffles from Holland, wine and cider from Italy, biscuits and chocolate from Belgium and dried fruit and nuts from Germany and Iran.

Shoppers and browsers will also be able buy hand-made soaps from Provence, Tunisian giftware and cookware, garden plants, flower pictures and wooden flowers from Holland.

Huddersfield has hosted the Continental Market for several years and people have always been delighted by the quality of the food and fancy goods on offer.
