A HUDDERSFIELD man is to speak at Westminster today.

Canon Yaqub Masih, chairman of Pakistan Christian Concern, is to address Parliamentarians and civil servants on the persecution of Christians around the world.

Mr Masih, of Salendine Nook, will be speaking to Foreign Minister William Hague and others at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

He will focus on the plight of Christians in Iraq and in Pakistan, especially concerning the Blasphemy Law in Pakistan which has claimed two high profile lives in recent weeks.

Mr Masih will also highlight how Christians in the UK are afraid to speak openly about their faith in a multi-faith society, encouraging them to stand for their faith and values.
