STUDENTS from Newsome High School and Sports College took part in a field study trip to the Yorkshire Dales.
They explored the countryside from a base at Wharfeside House, Kettlewell.
During the trip the Year 11 students completed a 12-mile hike, went trout fishing and enjoyed games.
The activity trip was organised by Huddersfield Round Table.
