A NEW exhibition is to celebrate everything Yorkshire.

Flat Cap and Whippet is opening at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Mirfield on Saturday.

Inspired by the landscape and sculptures, various artists will be exhibiting their visions of Yorkshire.

Royal Academician Norman Ackroyd, has chosen six pictures to display.

WYPW Gallery manager Louise Crosby said: “We feel extremely privileged to have the work of a master printmaker hung in our gallery.

“It will be an excellent opportunity for both our members and the public to be able to closely examine such excellence in printmaking.”

Other artists include Catherine Sutcliffe-Fuller and Helen Roddie, both from York and Northern photographer Liza Dracup.

The exhibition runs to July 27 and will be open from 10.30 to 6pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 10.30am to 4pm on Saturday.

Between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on July 23, there will be a chance to meet the artists.
