ATHLETES from Longley School have qualified for championships in Yorkshire.
Four youngsters have qualified in the under- 13 group at the Npower Active Disport Yorkshire championships.
The event is aimed at people with learning disabilities. It encourages them to get involved in sport and explore their skills.
Aaron Fletcher and Rebecca Mardell have qualified for the 100 metres, Dexter Mansaf for the 100 metres and long jump and Craig Oldroyd for the standing long jump.
All took part in the regional qualifiers at the South Leeds Stadium.
The Yorkshire championships will be back there on Wednesday, June 16.
Events include running and walking races, wheelchair slaloms for motorised, assisted and unassisted wheelchair users and softball throw.
A Federation of Disability Sports Organisations spokesman said: "The Npower Active programme is the country's biggest regional sports development scheme."
