A VILLAGE youth club is reopening after the success of an Examiner appeal.
The Take-a-Break Club at Meltham has been shut since summer because of a shortage of supervisors.
Now six new helpers have come forward and activities for eight to 12-year-olds can resume.
Chairman John Spencer said: "Four of them volunteered as a result of the article."
The first meeting is at the village's Carlile Institute on Thursday, February 26.
Weekly 1½-hour sessions begin at 7pm and cost 60p.
Mr Spencer said: "It's very cheap and we're urging youngsters to come along."
