YOUNG activists are planning a sponsored walk in West Yorkshire this weekend.
Members of Youth Fight for Jobs will travel from Leeds to Wakefield on Sunday along the route taken by the Jarrow marchers in 1936.
Yorkshire organiser Iain Dalton said: “Young people don’t want to be sat around on benefits.
“We want educational and training opportunities so we can put our talents to the use for the benefit of everyone.”
