FOOTBALLERS' Wives star Zoe Lucker is in the running for a top award.
The Huddersfield lovely is among contenders named today in the most popular actress category of the National Television Awards.
It caps a tremendous year for Zoe, 30, who plays evil Tanya Turner in the hit TV series.
She will be battling in the awards against the likes of Jessie Wallace - Kat Moon in East- Enders - who is aiming to hold on to the title for a second year.
The catfight also includes Kate Ford, who is Coronation Street bad girl Tracy Barlow.
Zoe's nomination comes after she was an instant hit when Footballers' Wives was first screened two years ago.
Tremendous storylines have included a spell in prison in a crossover series with TV drama Bad Girls.
But the fourth series of Footballers' Wives, now being filmed, could be Zoe's last, according to reports.
Viewers were today urged to cast their votes for the final shortlist for the TV awards.
The awards - in 12 categories - will be presented live on ITV1 during a star-studded ceremony at London's Royal Albert Hall in October.
It will be hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald.
Zoe has been nominated as the TV awards celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Executive producer Kim Turberville said: "The National Television Awards make it possible for viewers to give their verdict on the year's television.
"It's a true national barometer of popular tastes and preferences."
Voting forms are available in post offices until July 30.
