It seems we can’t get enough of the living dead.

A new business is set to take up residence in a former Huddersfield textile mill.

And they are bringing creatures back to life.

The zombies will be out in force for a series of thrill nights at Halo Mill, off Manchester Road.

It has been used for war games in the past but is also now to be a venue for zombie chases.

Jason Rhodes, one of the men behind End of Days events, said: “There is a big demand for people to be scared.

“Imagine watching a horror film at home in the dark and thinking what you would do in those circumstances. That is what our business is about.

“We are setting up events in the old mill which will see groups of people chase and be chased by zombies for hours at a time.

“We are involved with helping out at the charity event in Beaumont Park on March 30 and hope the new venture will prove a success.

“The fascination with zombies goes back to the 1980s and the classic films by George Romero like The Living dead. Now we have new TV series about zombies and there is a new audience”.

The company charges anything from £80 to £130 a person to be scared out of their wits.
