Huddersfield New College is situated in a 30 acre greenfield site with views over the foot hills of the Pennines. This relaxing campus location plays host to over 2,300 16-18 year olds studying courses at foundation, intermediate and advanced level. The college is the only one in Kirklees that allows students to combine both academic and vocational study.

The college is currently celebrating record A level results, having achieved a 99% pass rate for the previous academic year. This comes on the back of an Ofsted inspection in November 2011 which saw the college officially rated as “good with outstanding features”.

Always moving forward, Huddersfield New College invested significantly in its facilities over the summer. As well as refurbishing the library and guidance centre, work has recently finished on a suite of state of the art Science labs and a 3G astro turf pitch. A new sports barn is also under development too.

The college is also hosting its first ever Saturday open morning on 10th November from 10am to 1pm, so why not come along and see for yourself why Huddersfield New College is in the top 8% of all schools and colleges nationally for student performance at advanced level.
