Synchro stars prove to be best in whole region

WE’RE first!

That’s the message from Borough of Kirklees as their 12 and under synchronised swimming team won at the North East regional competition.

The team of Lauren Wyke, Megan Jackson, Anggita Gunawan, Scarlett Kaye, Ellen Greenwood, Olivia Roberts, Rachel Harris and Alice Scholes topped the podium with their High School Musical themed display.

The figures were broken up into different sections and, again, the club had success.

In Section A (skill level 2, 13 years and over) Jade Wyke was first and Alice Hodge third.

Megan Jackson took third in Section B (skill level 1, 12 and under).

For Section C (9/10 years), Lauren Wyke finished first and Scarlett Kaye second. The competition was multi-regional and was held at Knottingley.
