Aizue handed ban

HULL KR prop Makali Aizue, the first player to be sent off in Super League this year, has been handed a three-match ban.

The Papua New Guinea forward was dismissed in his side's 30-15 defeat at Wakefield on Sunday for a reckless high tackle on winger Paul White and was found guilty of the offence when he appeared before the RFL's disciplinary committee. The 29-year-old was also fined £300.

* Warrington Wolves' former St Helens internationals Martin Gleeson and Vinnie Anderson are unlikely to face their old team in Saturday's Challenge Cup quarter-final at Knowsley Road.

Former Giants centre Gleeson and Anderson missed the Wolves' 42-26 engage Super League defeat at Leeds last Friday with knee and back injuries respectively and are struggling for fitness.
