Trio show class

JAMES MARTIN is the third young player to recently step up to our full Super League squad.

He joins Chris Lawson and Michael Lawrence and we are hoping another of our Academy products won’t be long in making the same move.

We believe they have all earned the right to a senior contract and that they’ve got the chance to become quality Super League players.

The fact they’ve been given this opportunity shows the long-term planning which is going on at the club and we have high expectations of these lads.

James, Chris and Michael are quality kids and they already know that becoming a successful Super League player is about a lot of hard work and a bit of good luck.

Hopefully they will be blessed with both in abundance and I’m excited about seeing them respond to the challenge next year on what will be a steep learning curve.

All three of them – and the fourth I’ve made reference to – have shown fantastic attitudes both to training and matches and their potential is enormous.
