Rangers savour success

BRIGHOUSE Rangers inflicted more misery on Conference League First Division bottom club Crosfields by securing a 27-10 triumph in Warrington.

Most of the action took place after the break, with a Jarrod Morris try giving the visitors a 4-0 interval advantage.

Morris doubled his tally within minutes of the restart after some good work by former Giants Academy man Chris Beever before Crosfields very briefly threatened a fightback with a try of their own.

But for the rest of the contest Brighouse were in control.

As they increased the pressure, further tries were scored by Martin Luxford, Lee Smith and Beever.

Goals from Gary Proctor and a Simon Jackson drop goal completed the scoring.
