Bellas hits form as Underbank take scalp

UNDERBANK RANGERS recorded their best result of the season with a superb 29-16 triumph at Division IV leaders Sheffield Hillsborough Hawks.

It was only their hosts’ second defeat of the season and has increased Rangers’ hopes of mounting a late title surge.

Leading the visitors’ challenge in the South Yorkshire duel was Nick Bellas, who scored two tries, while Stephen Berry, Jamie Tarazi and Neil Williamson also crossed for scores.

John Birt rounded off an outstanding afternoon with four goals and a drop goal.
