Southwell leads Moor rout

EMLEY Moor were able to field a full-strength side at Westgate Redoubt, and that made all the difference in the world as they stormed to a 50-6 Second Division victory in Wakefield.

Led once again by prop Jason Southwell with four tries, Moor dominated from the start.

The visitors were 16-6 ahead at the break and then stepped up another gear after the break to extend their advantage, with teenage substitute Ben Mallinson a leading light at loose forward.

Dave Pawson was another man in form, finishing with a hat trick, while Karl Adamski, Mick Hanmer and James Utley also scored tries and Andy Tillotson landed five goals.
