Big finale is all set

UNDERBANK Rangers produced their best result of the season to give themselves a golden chance of gaining promotion from Division IV.

The club from The Cross turned on the style to beat champions Wortley Dragons 46-32, which means that if they can beat Liversedge at home tonight they will go up at their visitors’ expense.

There’s also a massive game at Newsome Panthers tonight when the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Huddersfield rivals Newsome and Emley Moor are ready to go head-to-head, with the winners gaining promotion to Division I.

The massive final-day showdown was confirmed at the weekend when Moor were handed a 30-0 walk-over result against Calder Valley, while the Panthers were losing 27-18 at champions Wyke.
