Fortunately, however, coach Pete Southwell’s side were far from finished.

Within minutes Holdsworth has forced his way over and the fightback had begun.

Kris Shepherd grabbed Moor’s first try, converted by Adamski, to nudge Moor two points ahead, and then Dave Pawson raced in for a long-distance try to seal an excellent victory.

A solid team performance was at the heart of the triumph, although substitute forwards Ben Adamson and 18-year-old Jake Lockwood deserve particular praise for their tremendous impact off the bench.
