Amateur RL: Underbank chief full of confidence
Jun 26 2009 By Chris Roberts
"I see this game as the biggest game of our season so far, and clinching the three points at Hemel will mean an awful lot to the sides come the end of the season.
"Hemel have been going really well and have only lost three games all year. It is always a hard place to go and win and the boys know we need to be at our best to beat them.
"We can’t afford to start slowly as we have done in previous weeks. It took us 42 minutes last week to play anything like we can after a poor first half.
"If we hit top gear from the off and compete at a high level, then I’m sure we have the quality in the team to take the spoils."
Underbank do, however, have their injury problems this week.
Will Midgley could need an operation on a shoulder problem, which means he will be on the sidelines for the game along with Sean Mitchell, Gary Keegan and Matt Lodge, who are all unavailable, plus Arran Crabtree who is suffering a blood disorder.
