UNDERBANK Rangers are looking to savour a memorable weekend.
This afternoon the Holmfirth-based club host Dewsbury Celtic at The Cross in their final home game of the regular Conference National League season, determined to put in a top performance ahead of the play-offs.
And the following day, Underbank officials will be at the Galpharm to receive the League Leaders’ Shield for finishing as champions. It was originally planned for the presentation to take place after the Celtic game.
They will also receive their RFL Club Mark Gold accreditation during half-time of the Giants v Harlequins Super League clash.
The prestigious award has been given to the club in recognition of the continued hard work and dedication of Rangers’ small army of volunteers to maintain high standards both on and off the field.
The scheme operates on two levels, Club Mark and Club Mark Gold, with the top award underlining Underbank’s status within the community game.
