WILL Huddersfield have two clubs in the third round of the Hamuel Rechenbacher BARLA Yorkshire Cup after this weekend?
Pennine League Premier Division sides St Joseph’s and Slaithwaite Saracens are both on duty.
And for Joe’s they face an attractive Kirklees derby against Dewsbury Moor at Fartown.
The tie gives player-coach Kevin Bower’s side the chance to get back on track after last week’s League defeat to Wibsey Warriors.
But with Moor having opened their Championship Division campaign with three straight wins, it could prove a testing encounter.
At the same, time Slaithwaite host Joes’ conquerors, Wibsey, which is a clear sign that the Saracens won’t be able to take anything for granted.
Meanwhile, in the Pennine League’s Supplementary Cup, St Joseph’s second string travel to play Greetland All Rounders in the preliminary round of the competition.
In the Pennine League Championship Division Emley Moor take on Birstall Victoria at home on the back of last week’s defeat to Ossett Trinity.
And in Division I Lindley Swifts play Crigglestone Kettlethorpe and Newsome Panthers are facing up against Allerton Bywater.
Lindley will want to avenge their heavy defeat to Moorends, while the Panthers will be hoping to build on last week’s triumph against Bank Top Harriers.
In-form Third Division side Underbank face an away trip to Woodhouse Warriors when they will be hoping to go top of the table if they can rack up a big enough score against their opponents.
Newsome’s second string will be hoping to get off the mark in Division IV away to fellow strugglers Victoria Rangers.
Both sides have so far failed to get a point.
In Division V Meltham All Blacks take on Brighouse Rangers A away from home.
The All Blacks will be wary of the threat Rangers pose, especially after they put 50 points past Ovenden’s B team last week.
The second teams of Emley Moor and Underbank take on Queensbury B and West Craven Warriors respectively in Division VII.
Both sides will be looking to get back with a bang after defeats in their last games.
