ST JOSEPH’S are flying the Under 17s flag.
The Fartown-based club are so far the only one from Huddersfield to register a team at Under 17s level for the forthcoming Yorkshire Combination League 2012-13 winter season.
The players are now back in full training every Wednesday from 6.30pm and on Saturdays from 11am.
Any players from the other clubs who ran Under 16 sides last year and don’t want to make the step up to open age, are more than welcome to join Joes for the Yorkshire Combination League campaign.
The Open Age Pennine League squads are also back in training under new coach Simon Hagger, who has previously coached at Shaw Cross and more recently at Dewsbury Rams.
The team is coming together well, with training sessions taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.00pm and players old and new being welcome.
