AT THE West Yorkshire League fixture at Cleckheaton, Longwood Harriers’ Alan Marriott won the Senior Men’s Discus with a throw of 34.48m.

In the Under 15 Girls Shot Rachel Moore finished sixth with a distance of 6.28m.

in the Helen Windsor 10k road race staged in Halifax in the Helen Windsor 10k road race Donald Kennedy finished 11th in 37.43, second in the O/40s age group.

In Birmingham Peter Dibb won the 800m in 3.11.41 in the British Masters track and field championships over 75 age group.
