Longwood are just edged out

LONGWOOD had a close finish but narrowly lost out away to Nursery Inn, (Stockport) in the Manchester Premier League.

Both teams had five winners each but Longwood lost the aggregate by five chalks (186-181) but Lower Hopton won 9-6 at home to Sale XL.

Tomorrow evening Longwood are home to British Plate (St Helens) while Lower Hopton have a difficult away game at Tonge.
