Get down to Hove Edge

THE popular Hove Edge Ladies Winter Bowling events get under way on Saturday, October 13.

As in previous years, competitors need to turn up at the green by 10.00.

The bowling will take place throughout the winter on alternate Saturday mornings, with weather permitting.

Entry is £3 and for an additional fee there is often a consolation competition for first round losers.

Bowling secretary, Sheila Whiteley, said: “As always the catering is excellent and this is a very sociable competition which keep the interest and skills going throughout the winter season.”
