Meltham’s title for fifth year on trot!

MELTHAM have won the Huddersfield Ladies League title for a fifth year on the trot.

The successful team have five players – Jacquie Roper, Andrea Buckley, Suzanne Howarth, Marie Lockwood and Judi Hollingworth – in the Yorkshire county team.

And they’ve also had a number of individual winners this season through Roper (Works Merit), Hazel Rangeley (Works Pairs with Angela Throssle of Shepley) and Lockwood and Freda Beaumont (Hilda England Pairs).
