Davidson rescues our 100% record
Tom Brook, on his home Scholes ground, immediately made inroads into the opposition’s batting line up as he bowled aggressively and quickly to leave the visitors struggling at 119-8.
However, North Yorkshire and South Durham showed their resilience. In six overs, the lower order struck 68 in six overs to put a halt on Huddersfield’s march to victory.
In the 46th over, the brave fightback was ended as the final wicket fell to leave Clarkson out of partners and stranded on 40 after coming in at No9.
Brook finished with figures of four for 54, while Dominic Storey and Tom Barber had two apiece.
Huddersfield will be looking to maintain their 100% record against Craven at Marsden on Sunday, July 5 (start, 1pm).
