PHIL HEATON will make the short journey from his Lancashire home to the Delph & Dobcross ground tomorrow, hoping to once again inspire Shepley to greater things as they tackle the Premiership heavyweights in the quarter-finals of the Romida Sykes Cup.

Long-serving Shepley skipper Heaton was at the forefront of his side’s League victory over Delph at Marsh Lane last month as he and Tom Denton hit 80-odd apiece to post a total of 262, which looked even better when Craig Glover got to work and claimed four wickets, while younger brother Danny had three as the visitors were out for 162.
