SHELLEY are through to the Crowther Cup final after beating rivals Skelmanthorpe in the semi-final at Lidgett Lane.
They will now face either Keighley or Woodlands in the showpiece on August Bank Holiday Monday at Morley.
Shelley posted 207-9 with David Greaves making 31, Gary Eastwood 20 – taking him past 1,000 for the season – Tim Jones 31, Gareth Wakefield 30 and John Andrew 27, including 16 off the last over.
Daniel Barber took four for 43, while Richard Aspinall claimed three for 38.
Ryan Jagger looked to set his side on the path to victory when he scored 50 out of the first 70 and with 12 fours.
He went on to complete a fine 77, with support from Ben Dyson (26).
But with their dismissals, Skelmanthorpe crashed to defeat, losing their last six wickets for just 14 runs.
It was a good team effort from the visitors who will now be aiming to go one step further than Scholes, who were the last Drakes League side to reach the Crowther final in 2005, only to lose to Gomersal.
