Kirkburton juniors benefit

KIRKBURTON Junior Football Club are moving in the right direction both on and off the pitch.

They have an excellent base with good pitches, changing block and kitchen facilities which are extensively used on match days at Kirkburton Middle School.

And with most age groups being competitive and doing well in their respective leagues, the club have been overwhelmed by the support which has been given by local businesses in terms of sponsorship this season.

Chairman David Parkin, on behalf of the club, thanked all the sponsors and stated: “In this era when professional clubs are tied in with sponsors with multi-million pound deals, it is important that local businesses are prepared to support youngsters at the grass roots level.”
