The Emley Moor official takes charge of the district FA showpiece match on Thursday May 8 (7.00).
It’s a third major final for Fosbrook, who had the Works League’s Hoyle Cup final in 2006 and the Gee Cup (for the District League Reserve Divisions III and IV) two years before that.
Golcar whistler Alan Dickinson has been appointed to the Sunday Challenge Cup final, which will be played at Laund Hill on Sunday May 4 (11.00).
Dickinson refereed the Kirklees Sunday League Cup final in 2006.
The Saturday Junior Challenge Cup final at Marsden on Saturday, April 26 (6.00), will be controlled by Chris Lockwood.
It’s a fourth major appointment for the Meltham whistler, who had the Richardson Cup final in 2003, the Groom Cup final in 2005 and the Gee Cup final in 2006.
Another Meltham official, Ian Mellor, will take charge of the District League’s Barlow Cup final at the Galpharm on Wednesday, April 30 (7.00).
Mellor had the final of the Works League’s supplementary cup The Arthur Coupland Trophy in 2002 and took charge of the Groom Cup final two years ago.
Ian Daffern will be the man in the middle for the Groom Cup final at Barr Street on Thursday, May 1 (6.00), following his appointment to the Richardson Cup decider last year.
The Richardson final this year, which will be held at Marsden on Tuesday, April 22 (6.00), goes to Alan Philips.
One of the most experienced referees in the district, he is getting close to a full set of finals having had charge of the Coupland (1991), Gee (1993), Hoyle (1995), Sunday Challenge (1998), Rollinson (2001), Barlow (2004) and Challenge (2006).
Thajinder Khehra and Mick Robertson get their first finals this year.
Khehra has the Gee Cup at YMCA on Tuesday, April 29 (7.00) while Robertson takes the Hoyle Cup at the Galpharm on Tuesday, May 6, (7.00).
Vic Murray, from Elland, makes his bow by taking charge of the Rollinson Cup final at Laund Hill on Sunday, April 20 (11.00).
Ian Parker has the Kirklees Sunday League final at Emley the following Sunday (11.00).
It’s a second final for Parker, having taken the Rollinson final in 2006.
