Sikh temple given FA Challenge boot

GNG SIKH TEMPLE have been thrown out of this year’s Sunday FA Challenge Cup at the semi-final stage.

The West Riding County FA have suspended the Bradley-based club’s affiliation, pending a disciplinary inquiry.

And as a result, the Huddersfield District FA have now removed them from this year’s competition – handing Heavy Woollen outfit Towngate a walkover into the final.

They were due to meet in the semi-finals at Syngenta tomorrow, but the match is now obviously off.

The disciplinary inquiry follows incidents in two recent matches involving GNG Sikh Temple.
